Ms Shinyi Chin is a PhD Candidate at RMIT University’s School of Media and Communication. She is also a sessional academic with the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing. Her teaching experiences include advertising, branding, and marketing communication for both undergraduate and postgraduate cohorts. Other then RMIT, she has taught at Swinburne University and Monash University. Currently, Shinyi also plays an active role as research assistant for the Communicating Health project. This project is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and aims to optimise young adult’s engagement with health messages using social media.
