Larissa has partnered extensively with consumer advocacy organisations and energy utility businesses. Recently, she led two commissioned research projects into energy poverty for Victorian Council of Social Services, and a competitively funded study of household vulnerability to heatwaves. Larissa’s uses both quantitative and qualitative methods including surveys, interviews, ethnography and case studies.
As a member of the Beyond Behaviour research program, Larissa’s research develops understandings of household practices and the implications for policy, programs and adoption of new technologies.
